The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has condemned in strong terms Bamidele Onalaja’s unauthorized representation as the chairman of the Lagos State chapter.

This was made known in a press release signed by John Saka on behalf of the national Secretariat, clearly emphasized that Onalaja’s tenure officially ended on February 22, 2024.

John Saka said in accordance with REDAN’s constitution, which stipulates a single four-year term for elected officers, the dissolution of the 6th REDAN Executive Council followed the expiration of Onalaja’s tenure.

The association noted that such unauthorized representation violates its established principles and regulations, which provide clear avenues for addressing grievances and disputes.

However, the new executive of the national body of REDAN under Akintoye’s leadership pledged to conduct a thorough investigation and implement necessary sanctions as per its constitutional mandate.

The REDAN President reaffirmed the association’s dedication to professionalism, discipline, and credibility, aiming to attract investment into Nigeria’s real estate sector while safeguarding the interests of subscribers and investors.

He also reiterated REDAN’s commitment to promoting positive change, transparency, and advancement within Nigeria’s real estate industry, pledging to uphold the integrity and professionalism of the association.
