Lagos State Government is set to commence the process for the execution and presentation of Alimosho Model City Plan to stakeholders and members of the public.

According to the state Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, the measure is part of the process of finalising the ongoing review of Alimosho Model City Plan in the regeneration projects of the state.

Olumide, explained that the exercise will commence from Monday, February 19, with the presentation of the document to members of the public for further comments.

According to the commissioner, the document would be available at nine different locations, from Monday, 19th February, to Wednesday, March 27, to allow for robust participation and ownership, while a general stakeholders’ engagement would follow a week later.

“For the four-week duration, members of the public can access the document and make comments at the following centres between 9.00 am and 4.00pm: Alimosho Local Government Secretariat, Alimosho; Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Secretariat, Abule-Egba; Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Secretariat.

Others are: Ipaja; Egbe-Idimu LCDA Secretariat, Isheri; Mosan-Okunola, LCDA, Secretariat, Water Corporation B/Stop, Ipaja; Ikotun-Igando LCDA Secretariat, Ikotun; Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, LSPPPA, Office Abesan Housing Estate, Ipaja; LSPPPA Head Office, Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA,Ikeja; Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Alausa, Ikeja.

“Thereafter, the stakeholders’ engagement on the same document will come up at Noble Castle Event Centre, Igando in April, 2024,” Olumide stated.
