Residents of Oyo state have been assured of plans to establish a major eco-friendly residential and commercial city known as Ibadan Green City which would address housing deficits in the state and provide a healthy living environment.
The Ibadan Green City project conceived by the Next City Estate Limited an Ibadan-based property development and management company is a mixed development comprising Site and Service Private Development, Next City Residential with 2-3 bedroom houses, Special Manufactured Homes for Young Couples, Recreational facilities, Medical Centre, Schools, Event Centre, Short Let Apartments, ATM Gallery/Cash Points, Medical Centre, Worship Centre amongst others.
According to a press statement signed by the company’s Managing Director, Mr Ola Rotimi Shodimu whose company is the organiser of the annual Ibadan International Housing and Construction Fair, “Ibadan Green City is conceptualized as a pace-setting natural habitat in the pace-setter state to redefine living and living conditions.
He further explained that the multi-dimensional sixteen hectares real estate project would be implemented by a consortium of well-tested professionals operating under principles and philosophies of global best practices in a local environment to birth an international estate brand”
