This is because of the high volume of transactions one is expected to carry out as a player. But, in the last few years, some of these norms have been defied by a young, talented, energetic, innovative, and industrious set of youths. They have even revolutionised the sector with their ideas, talents, and wealth of knowledge.

This week, we bring you 10 young real estate players to watch out for in 2023.

RAMOS ADEYINKA

35-year-old Ramos Adeyinka is the Chief Executive Officer of Ramos Lagos Realty, a company established as a luxury real estate marketing firm. The company was launched as a traditional real estate marketing agency, with the model of marketing and sales of developed and yet-to-be-developed properties.

When Ramos started, he did a little research and found out there’s a particular way people market, which is through flyers and putting people together to talk to them about real estate. He is known for using social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to sell his properties.

Ramos has reportedly sold over N9 billion worth of properties in Lagos State as of today.

LUKMAN SHOBOWALE

Shobowale (born 29th of May, 1994) is a seasoned realtor, business magnate, author, and an award-winning leader with a track record of excellence.

An alumnus of the prestigious University of Ilorin, a Business Executive from Lagos Business School and Rome Business School, Lukman broke into the real estate market half a decade ago and has amassed applicable wealth in the industry.

He is the co-founder and head of business of Dukiya Investments in Lekki that has tentacles for brokerage across 3 continents, with 7 developed estates and more in progress.

Lukman has successfully developed notable real estate projects like The Cabanas and The Ontario that have gotten acknowledged as the “Future of the Epe Community” by the Lagos government and were sold out in just a few days. The young man is known for his oratory prowess in the real estate industry. His level of conviction earned him the marker, “The Sales Oracle” among his colleagues.

In 2020, Lukman was recognized by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi as one of the young Nigerians setting the pace in leadership and entrepreneurship spheres.

Lukman is a gentle and careful real estate developer who has sold over N10 billion worth of real estate properties in the developing areas of Lagos, including Epe.

SEKONI BRIGHT

24-year-old Bright is the Chief Executive Officer of Audacia Prime Realty Limited. Bright is an alumnus of Lagos State University, Ojo. He is known for pursuing greatness.

Sekoni, while on campus, engaged in many businesses before choosing real estate because of his oratory prowess.

The young Sekoni started off as a sales executive in a real estate firm and his passion to become big drove him into starting his own firm.

Since starting Audacia, Sekoni has sold nothing less than N5 billion worth of properties in Lagos State with the latest of them being Adunni Tech City. Sekoni mostly targets Generation Z and Millenials for his real estate business because he believes that they are the future landlords that ought not to waste their funds on frivolities.

BAYO LAWAL

Bayo Lawal (born 13th October, 1993) is an entrepreneur, author, seasoned realtor, and an award-winning leader who has inspired many to excellence via his leadership events.

He obtained his first degree from Kwara State University, Malate, where he studied Political Science. As an undergraduate, he was conscious of the anomalies that existed in the four walls of his school and he desired that undergraduates like him would see beyond education, see life from another perspective, understand their purpose, create capacity, and ultimately bring desirable growth and development to the society and the world at large.

He is an alumnus of the reputable Lagos Business School, where he enrolled for the business administration and management program. He also has an MBA from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo. His latest academic and professional feat is being an alumnus of the Rome Business School, Rome, Italy.

NOLA ADETOLA

OLAWALE AYILARA

Ayilara (born 8th August, 1988) is a Nigerian businessman, investor, and real-estate entrepreneur, popularly known as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Landwey Investment Limited.

Olawale began his entrepreneurial journey right from a very young age, trying his hands at several businesses before finding his oil in the real estate sector.

In 2016, Olawale founded the real estate investing company with zero capital. Today, the company boasts of over 22,000 realtors and consultants and over 2 billion in assets.

DR. STEPHEN AKINTAYO
