The management of Workbay Technology Limited, on Friday announced that it had commenced off-plan sale of units in the Maverick Estate, Gbagada, Lagos.

The Chief Executive Officer, Workbay Technology, said in a statement made available to Saturday PUNCH that the Maverick Estate would be built on 25 plots on land.

The statement read in part, “In January 2022, we embarked on the sale of our 60-plot estate located at Westex bus stop along the Gbagada-Oworonshoki Expressway, Gbagada. Within a space of nine months, 26 out of the 35 plots set aside to be sold to individuals who want to buy land and build their own houses are already sold, thus remaining just nine plots. We are currently selling a 500-square-metre plot for N50m. This will certainly go up as work progresses in the estate.

“Early this month, we started the off-plan sale of our housing unit called ‘Maverick Homes’, which will be built on the 25 plots that we earmarked for the housing units. The housing units will comprise 72 maisonettes, 18 pent houses and 18 units of semi-detached buildings. Just like our land, which cost N30m when we started marketing less than a year ago and now currently sells for N50m, investors are advised to take advantage of the current off-plan prices.

“Two-bedroom maisonette, N35m-N50m (comes with terrace and maid room); three-bedroom semi-detached flat from N79,950,000 (comes with pent bedroom and walk-in closet); and three-bedroom penthouse from N79,950,000 (comes with pent lounge with terrace, pent office, maid room and storage). Construction is scheduled to start on April 1, 2023 and completed in 2024.”
