The MD/CEO, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Madu Hamman, has charged staff to ensure strict compliance with the new Management’s goal of providing efficient service delivery to its customers nationwide.

Mr. Hamman gave the charge at the official kick-off ceremony for the Bank’s 2022 Customer Service Week in Abuja on Tuesday, 4th October.

He noted that FMBN, as a player in the financial service industry, recognizes and celebrates the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support customers daily.

“Millions of Nigerians contribute to the National Housing Fund (NHF) in trust that we would leverage it to provide decent and affordable housing. Therefore, we must keep our customers satisfied and happy with our services. We must not take FMBN’s unique and unmatched position as a leading provider of affordable housing finance for granted. It comes with great responsibility, and this must be evident in how we discharge our responsibilities to Nigerians at every point of contact at our various branches every day,” he said.

The FMBN 2022 Customer Service Week commenced on Sunday, 3rd October, with a Novelty Football Match between the FMBN Head Office Staff and FCT 1 and 2 staff at the training pitch of the M.K.O. Abiola National Stadium Abuja.

Mr. Hamman said the football match was part of the new Management’s efforts to create a conducive work environment that supports a work-life balance culture and fosters staff collaboration towards improving productivity and service delivery.

“We want to promote an institution that provides staff with the right environment to enable them to perform optimally at their respective desks,” he added.
