A Chieftain of Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Moshood Adegoke Salvador, has promised to provide quality and affordable housing for Lagosians, if elected governor next year.

Speaking with hundreds of party faithful, the former House of Representatives member lamented the suffering of Lagosians due to inadequate housing.

The LP chieftain, a major player in the property sector, promised to bridge the gap by delivering one million housing units in his first year.

He said his administration would build 205 units of flats across 245 wards in the state, to be implemented by reputable contractors.

The governorship hopeful also said his administration would open up new towns to decongest Lagos.
