Armed with the vision of enterprise development and people empowerment, Nigerian real estate firm, Pertinence group has in 10 years of its existence, developed 80 estates, gifted over 100 cars, and rewarded clients with over 100 landed properties, among other success stories.

At a recent media briefing, the founders of the firm, Dr. Sunday Olorunsheyi and Mr. Wisdom Ezekiel, chronicled how through passion, consistency, and partnership, they were able to lift over 1,000 once-deprived people to become millionaires in terms of earnings.

Their statement: ” We can confidently say that it has been 10 years of impact, consistency, hard work, progress, productive partnerships, and relevance.

“Pertinence founded in 2012 on an enterprise development and people empowerment vision, started with one administrative staff at the company’s former rented office location at Primatek Plaza, here in Akowonjo, but currently boasts of 120 staff strength and over 16,000 sales affiliates.

“In 10 years, we have lived up to our people empowerment goal by raising over 1,000 once-deprived people to become millionaires in terms of earnings. Over the years, we have rewarded productivity on our team with incentives such as: all-expenses-paid international trips for more than 300 people; gifted over 100 cars, up to hundred free plots of land, and 3 fully-built houses.

“In terms of enterprise development mission, many sale team members have become business own their businesses. Some of these include: Sentinel Limited, Leap High Limited, Imperial Crest, among others;

“And in addition, our custom-built corporate head office, houses our subsidiaries such as: Quanta Africa, Pertinence Properties, RealVest, Edificio, DataFirst, Hostnownow, Jetseed, Cloudnine and Automecho,” the duo said.

Speaking further, one of the co-founders of Pertinence group, Dr. Olorunsheyi, explained that the real estate company has expanded to seven states across Nigeria, and to five countries across the world.

He added that presently, the firm has 80 estate locations, that included: Boystown, Ipaja; Lavida Hills, Ikola; iLand Properties; Pioneer, Prime Plus, Prime Shelter in Ibeju Lekki; and latest being Lavida Prime, and IRE which was launched as Pertinence’s signature project, sitting on an initial 350 acres in the heart of Mowe, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The other co-founder, Mr. Ezekiel reiterated that having sold over 2.1million square meters of land, their appreciation in the last 10 years was attributed to God, board of directors, staff and partners.

On the challenges in doing business in Nigeria, the chairman board of directors, Dr. Olumide Emmanuel, noted that government has to do more in assisting developers put in place infrastructures, and also speed up the process of documentation.
