Gidi Real Estate Investment Commits to Delivering Affordable Housing Solutions

A real estate company, Gidi Real Estate Investment, has launched a housing estate called ‘Civic Residence’, which it said is geared towards making housing more affordable.

At the commissioning of the new estate in Ajah, Lagos, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Tobi Akerele, reaffirmed his commitment to reducing Africa’s housing deficit through cost-effective developments.

He said, “For us at Gidi Real Estate, the desire to create a new norm, an attempt to curate sustainable housing solutions based on end-users’ yearnings, is the driver of whatever we do. I say with pride today, that we have delivered all these structures, and this serves as a marker of our commitment to our promises and to the development of the Nigeria real estate market.”

The entrepreneur added that the project includes fully detached smart bungalows, a penthouse, and fully detached duplexes.

On his part, the Chief Operating Officer of the company, Ayorinde Ejioye, noted that privacy was one of the priorities of the real estate project. He said, “Breaking away from the regular terraces and duplexes that we are known for, we are building smart bungalows to enhance the meaning of communal living. The most important part of a community is its ability to retain privacy. People who will live here will enjoy the bliss of not sharing walls with any neighbour. Meanwhile, 50 per cent of the estate had already been sold before it was officially launched.”

In a similar vein, the company’s Business Development Manager, Badra Lawal, listed the project’s unique selling points to include ‘smart innovation, design style, affordability, and location’.

Guests at the event include the Ogudu Oshadi of Ogombo, Eti-Osa, Lagos, Oba Abiodun Ogunbo; as well as realtors and customers of the company.
