The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) has expressed its readiness to assist Nasarawa State University in providing decent and affordable accommodation for its staff.

The FMBN MD/CEO, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, on behalf of the Management Team, stated this during a visit by members of the Nasarawa State University Governing Council to the Bank’s head office in Abuja last week.

The delegation, led by Prof. Salihu Ahmed Alizada, said the university is fast expanding and considers FMBN a suitable partner towards meeting the growing need for affordable housing for its existing staff.

“The University is desirous of providing housing accommodation for its staff. And as a bank that is mandated to assist various institutions and individuals to have affordable accommodation, we see the necessity to deepen our partnership with you. We are aware that some University staff are already beneficiaries of some FMBN funded estates in the state. However, because the university is rapidly expanding, we plan to expand collaboration to meet the growing need.” Prof. Sahihu.

The MD/CEO Federal Mortgage Bank, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, in his remarks, stated that FMBN would work together with Nasarawa State University to identify possible areas of partnership that will help them achieve their plan to ensure decent and affordable accommodation for their staff.
